Jimmy Jen

Jimmy has more than half a decade of experience in the financial industry with a background that includes positions in private equity and investment banking. In his career, Jimmy has completed 15 transactions with an aggregate value of ~$8 billion. As an Investment Associate, he is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and assisting with portfolio management.

Prior to joining Energy Foundry, Jimmy worked at Alliance Holdings, a private equity fund based in Philadelphia. While at Alliance, Jimmy worked on several leveraged buyouts, divestitures, dividend recapitalizations, and refinancings. Notable transactions include the acquisition of HydroWorx and the sale of Accord Industries to Charlotte Pipe.

Prior to his career in private equity, Jimmy worked at Deutsche Bank’s Global Industrials Group and Houlihan Lokey’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. There, Jimmy worked on several acquisitions, sales, and debt & equity offerings. Notable transactions include the sale of SeaCube to Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, acquisition of Zipcar by Avis Budget Group, and IPO of Norwegian Cruise Line.

Jimmy received a BBA in finance and accounting from Emory’s Goizueta Business School and a BA in economics from Emory University.
